Young manager claims he would never manage Tottenham Hotspur
Jack Wilshere has stated that he has no interest in becoming the manager of Tottenham Hotspur at any time in the future.
During the summer, the 30-year-old announced his retirement from playing football and is now the manager of Arsenal’s Under-18 team.
According to a report by HITC Sport, the former Gunner disclosed on Thursday that Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta serves as a significant source of motivation for him as he pursues a career as a manager in the future.
There are some who question Antonio Conte’s ability to remain the manager of Tottenham for an extended period of time. On the other hand, the former Arsenal midfielder has declared that he would turn down the position even if it were offered to him.
During an interview on talkSPORT, he was asked by co-host Andy Goldstein if he had been successful with Arsenal U18s and whether or not, in the event that Tottenham fired Antonio Conte and wanted him to take the job, he would accept it. His response was a straightforward “No.”
He stated:
“Do you think they’d take me? I’m a little more disliked [than George Graham]. No. No.”
As if Spurs will ever consider appointing Jack Wilshere.
🔥 Andy: “If you did incredibly well with Arsenal’s Under 18s…”
🧐 Jack: “Yes…”
👀 Andy: “And Spurs got rid of Conte & asked if you wanted it, would you?”
❌ Jack: “No.”
Don’t expect Jack Wilshere to go from #AFC’s U18s boss to #THFC manager 😂 pic.twitter.com/4bf8rXuLV7— talkSPORT (@talkSPORT) November 11, 2022
