Worrying reports emerge out of Qatar concerning Lionel Messi ahead of World Cup final

Tuesday night, Lionel Messi and Argentina qualified for the FIFA World Cup final, but there are worrying reports emanating from Qatar regarding the superstar.

Messi was absent from Argentina’s training session today due to a hamstring issue, according to reports such as those from Footmercato.

It was evident during the opening minutes of the Croatia match that the 35-year-old had a hamstring problem, which is the only trophy he has not yet won. This is concerning for many football fans around the world who would like to see the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner win the only trophy he has not yet won on Sunday.

Messi was spotted touching the ball at the beginning of the game, and he was not moving properly; however, following the penalty, he sprang to life and everything appeared to be in order.

Others have refuted the reports, claiming that none of Argentina’s starters from the game against Croatia participated in training today and instead practiced weightlifting.

This is also a possibility, as everything will be the subject of speculation and scrutiny in the run-up to the final, especially news involving Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

Despite speculations, Messi is certain to play against France, and if he is hurt, it will become apparent much closer to Sunday’s encounter in Qatar.
