United had given up a two-goal lead and needed another to avoid disgrace.
Ronaldo has scored numerous crucial goals this season, and he delivered once again against Norwich, completing his hat-trick to score the game-winning goal.
Ronaldo justifiably received accolades during the game, and supporters online hailed him once more once the game’s tunnel came footage was revealed.
The clip was shot prior to kickoff, and Ronaldo can be seen strolling along the line of United players, greeting each one individually.
Ronaldo exchanges a few words with David de Gea before greeting Maguire and returning to the front of the queue.
United fans on social media were quick to notice Ronaldo’s leadership abilities. This season, Maguire’s captaincy has been called into doubt, as he’s seen standing immobile while Ronaldo appears to encourage his players.
Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United is unknown. He has one year left on his contract after joining the club in September of last year.
