On Saturday afternoon, Arsenal won a crucial match against Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Despite falling behind twice, Arsenal managed to score two goals in injury time, securing a 4-2 victory and reclaiming the top spot in the league table above Manchester City.

Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins scored the first goal, but Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka scored a powerful volley to tie the game at 1-1 after 16 minutes. Later, former Liverpool player Phillipe Coutinho put Aston Villa back in the lead just over 30 minutes into the game.

However, Arsenal came back strong in the second half, with Oleksandr Zinchenko scoring the equalizing goal. Despite having some missed opportunities, Arsenal ultimately emerged victorious.

In the end, Jorginho, who was signed in January, took a powerful long-range shot that hit the woodwork and then bounced off Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez into the net, giving Arsenal the winning goal just before the end of the match.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka, who was later substituted off, ran off the bench to celebrate with his teammates, despite receiving a booking for his over-the-top celebration.

It is unlikely that Xhaka will be too concerned about the yellow card. Gabriel Martinelli also made some headlines when he celebrated before scoring Arsenal’s fourth goal, which annoyed former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor.

“I didn’t like Martinelli running through and celebrating before he puts the ball in the back of the net,” Agbonlahor told talkSport. “He’s been rubbish for a month.

“He’s scoring a tap-in, and celebrating before he scores. Lack of respect for your teammates. I didn’t like it.”
