What Frenkie de Jong did after learning that Manchester United had signed Tyrell Malacia
Tyrell Malacia joined Manchester United on Tuesday, marking the club’s first signing under new manager Erik ten Hag.
In a social media post, Feyenoord requested United to watch after Malacia, and several United players reached out to the newcomer to welcome him to Old Trafford.
Another notable post came from Ali Dursun, an agent at the heart of the deal who also represents Donny van de Beek and Victor Lindelof, as well as transfer target Frenkie de Jong.
Dursun pushed Malacia to’smash it’ on Instagram, saying he was happy to have helped the defender secure his huge move to Old Trafford.
De Jong ‘likes’ agent’s post on Tyrell Malacia
Dursun’s remark was also ‘liked’ by Frenkie de Jong, a Barcelona midfielder who could potentially join him at Old Trafford.

De Jong’s move to Manchester United is still in the works, but it will not be completed in time for the club’s pre-season tour, which begins on Friday.
According to Marca, conversations are still ongoing. Barcelona believes De Jong does not fit into the club’s wage structure and wants him to accept a salary cut in order to stay.
New United boss Erik ten Hag wants to recruit De Jong to reunite with him following their success at Ajax, and Sport reports that the midfielder’s advisors are advising him to accept the move to Manchester.
