Watch: Video emerges to show Marcus Rashford stick the middle finger up at Manchester United fans following defeat to Atletico Madrid
After Manchester United’s UEFA Champions League loss to Atletico Madrid, a video has surfaced on social media that appears to show Marcus Rashford raising his middle finger up at Manchester United fans outside Old Trafford.
Rashford has been chastised by both critics and fans for his recent performances at United.
Due to his poor performances on the pitch, Ralf Rangnick did not choose the English international for a number of games.
Rashford played roughly 23 minutes in United’s 0-1 loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Rashford appears to be exiting the stadium after the game, according to a footage posted on social media.
A large crowd had gathered to meet the winger, who appeared to reject their requests to come out and welcome them.

Fans then look to start yelling at Rashford, who then makes a motion with his middle finger towards them before walking away.
The signal Rashford makes towards the fans is unclear in the video above , but there are speculations on Reddit that he used his middle finger after something was yelled in the crowd.

Given his recent on-pitch troubles, the Englishman’s irritation is understandable, but you can’t really reply to supporters like that, which is why he’s apologized for his behavior.
Marcus, well done.
Rashford’s future at Manchester United is up in the air at the moment, with a summer exit looking increasingly likely – something that would have been inconceivable only a year ago.
A transfer away might be the wisest decision, because if something doesn’t change very quickly with regards to his form, he will certainly miss out on a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the 2022 World Cup.
