Video: Joao Felix destroys two Chelsea teammates with an outrageous piece of skill in training
A video posted on Chelsea’s Instagram page depicts Joao Felix in fine form prior to his return to the first team.
The forward has been suspended for the previous three games due to a reckless challenge against Fulham that resulted in his dismissal on his debut.
Prior to the moment of insanity, the Portuguese star was excelling in his first match for his loan club. However, he encountered an unfortunate roadblock.
However, footage of him training this week will give Chelsea fans confidence that he can pick up right where he left off.
Felix destroys Conor Gallagher and Lewis Hall with a spectacular skill before scoring in an Instagram video.
On Saturday against West Ham, supporters will be hoping for more of the same as their team looks to end a run of two games without a goal.
The squad will undoubtedly differ from the last time Felix participated. The Blues remained active throughout the month of January.
Mykhailo Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez are likely to start, with Fernandez’s performance in the West London derby last time out standing out in particular.
Benoit Badiashile is also likely to continue his run of games at the back. The Blues have not conceded a goal since the Frenchman joined the team three games ago.
Felix may be expected to start against West Ham in place of striker David Datro Fofana, who came off the bench against Fulham.
The youngster appeared more naturally suited to the central attacking role than Kai Havertz, who once again struggled to assert his authority in the frontline at Stamford Bridge in the previous match.
