After the game, club captain Cesar Azpilicueta was required to call a portion of the Chelsea players back as they were heading down the tunnel in order for them to go over and clap the traveling Blues fans for their efforts and support.
In spite of their loss to Manchester City by a score of 2-0, it is unacceptable that they need to be instructed to complete this task; it ought to be the very first thing they do. It’s the least we can do for the fans after how loud they were the whole night and how supportive they were.
