Video: Alejandro Garnacho pulls out Lionel Messi’s iconic celebration after scoring 93rd-minute winner vs Fulham
Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho scored the game-winning goal against Fulham in the 93rd minute and replicated Lionel Messi’s classic celebration.
Erik ten Hag called on Garnacho after Dan James equalized Christian Eriksen’s first-half goal, leaving his team in need of a goal.
And the sensational 18-year-old did just that as he scored a remarkable goal deep, deep into stoppage time.
The Argentinean prodigy and Eriksen exchanged a few passes before Eriksen delivered an appealing pass to the forward.
The teenager sprinted onto the ball and pushed it past Bernd Leno in stoppage time to clinch all three league points.
Ten Hag watched with pleasure as he couldn’t suppress his joy on the sidelines.
During his celebration, Garnacho mimicked Messi’s shirt-holding motion against Real Madrid in front of the traveling Manchester United fans at Craven Cottage.

Garnacho may be disappointed to have been left off Argentina’s World Cup roster, but there is little question that his time will come.
Online fans loved Garnacho’s strike against Fulham and feel he is a future superstar.
One Twitter user wrote: “Alejandro Garnacho is Manchester United’s new star-boy.”
A second tweeted: “This kid is something else.”
A third boldly asserted: “He’ll be one of the best players in the world in 3 years mark my word.”
Following the 2-1 victory, Bruno Fernandes lavished praise upon Garnacho.
“He [Garnacho] has a lot of talent and his work rate with the talent makes a big difference,” he told Sky Sports. “It’s not the first time he makes a big impact for us. We are really happy for him and know he can give us goals, assists and prove the joy of football.
“I think everyone is seeing signs that [Garnacho can go all the way]. Not because of his goals and assists but the way he comes into the game. Nobody likes to be on the bench so the attitude he has when he comes off has been fantastic.”
