‘Unstoppable’ Erling Haaland wants Chelsea move.
Borussia Dortmund’s striker Erling Haaland is said to be fascinated by a move to Chelsea, whether that be this summer or in 12 months.
According to the Telegraph, Borussia Dortmund’s valuable striker is attracted by the concept of moving to Stamford Bridge.
This should be music to the ears of those linked with Chelsea, who have Haaland remarkably high on their transfer wish list.
Plenty still holds between the Blues and their preference signing, but this latest report may cause some cheering.
The 20-year-old’s reported £150m+ (Telegraph) price tag is the first impediment, an enormous fee that only a few clubs could marshal up.

Haaland’s possible wage requirements might also create an issue for Chelsea, who already have plenty of well-priced players on their squad list.
Not to mention that Dortmund managed to qualify for the Champions League, leaving that trick pretty superfluous.
But the Blues have not given up in their chase of the Norwegian centre-forward.
Even if they have to wait until his release clause kicks in next year, enabling him to depart for a relatively cheap fee of between £65m and £86m (Telegraph).
This has motivated Chelsea to ask about setting up a future agreement with the Bundesliga side, that could include using Tammy Abraham in a trade-off.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Real Madrid might have alike ambitions in prizing Haaland away from Germany.
Pep Guardiola has already asserted his admiration for the Scandinavian superstar.
Following City’s Champions League victory over Dortmund, Guardiola explained:
“I would say this player is almost unstoppable and the best way to defend against these talented players is to not let them have the ball (quoted by Manchester Evening News).”
Expect an all-mighty contest between Europe’s heavyweights to land Haaland’s signature.
