Tottenham tallest, Chelsea among the shortest: Average height of every Premier League squad 2022/23 season
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has done an outstanding job.
Spurs were in a bad situation when the Italian manager arrived in the 2021/22 season.
But he was able to turn their fortunes around and lead them to a top four finish and Champions League qualification.
Conte prefers physical teams, which he has implemented at Tottenha
Conte has made nine signings since joining the club.
And none of the players he’s brought in are under 6 feet tall. Yves Bissouma is the shortest at 6 feet 0 inches, while Frazer Forster is the tallest at 6 feet 7.
Tottenham now has the tallest squad in the Premier League thanks to Conte’s additions.

Spurs now have the Premier League’s largest squad, followed by Newcastle and Everton.
Brighton, Chelsea, Southampton, and Wolves, on the other hand, have the smallest squads in England’s top flight.
The average height of the Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United squads is 182cm.
Of course, how tall or small a squad is isn’t the most important factor, as evidenced by Liverpool and Manchester City, both of which have squad heights in the bottom ten but are currently the best sides in England.
However, the data is still interesting to read and demonstrates Conte’s attempt to build a team of giants at Spurs.
