Tottenham on the Verge of Securing a Game-Changing Deal for a Highly-Rated Chelsea Striker
According to football.london, Tottenham Hotspur are attempting to sign Jude Soonsup-Bell from Chelsea before the transfer window closes on Tuesday night.
The forward’s contract with Chelsea expires in the summer, and the club has been unable to reach an extension to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
Soonsup-Bell has caught Tottenham’s attention, and the club is attempting to sign him, with the expectation that they will be successful.
Tottenham would attempt to integrate the 19-year-old into their academy system, but would consider a loan move for him during the summer transfer window.
Soonsup-Bell made his Chelsea debut in the EFL Cup under Thomas Tuchel last season.
This season, he has primarily played for Chelsea’s Under-21s in Premier League 2, where he has scored twice in seven appearances.
Soonsup-Bell has also participated in UEFA Youth League and EFL Trophy competitions.
If he joins Spurs, the youngster will look to continue his development. He has been capped by England at the Under-19 level.
