Thomas Tuchel comes out clear on Tammy Abraham’s snub.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel says now is not the time to “complain and explain” after being asked on Tammy Abraham’s exclusion from the Chelsea squad for the FA Cup final against Leicester City.
Abraham has found himself out of favor at under Tuchel and consequently been linked with a move away from the club in the summer transfer window.
Leicester, West Ham United, and Aston Villa ,are among the clubs said to be interested in signing the forward.
However, Chelsea are reportedly willing to listen to offers of £40million for the 23-year-old striker, who has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season.
Tammy Abraham did not even make Tuchel’s bench selection for the 1-0 loss to Leicester at Wembley on Saturday – a choice that was openly criticized by his girlfriend Leah Monroe.
She wrote on Instagram:
“How on Earth do you make the decision to leave your top goalscorer out of the squad for a final?!
“The same person who even scored the goals to actually qualify for this competition?
“It’s not making any sense to me whatsoever.
“Not even the bench?! This has to be a joke.”
That post has since been removed but was followed up with:
“God is in control.”

Abraham, meanwhile, posted a photograph of him comforting team-mate Christian Pulisic at the final whistle, followed by the caption:
“It hurts but we still have unfinished business.”
He then sent a message to the supporters, some of who were able to attend the final:
“Thank you for your support, good to have you back.”
At his pre-match press conference on Monday, Tuchel was questioned why Abraham was not involved in the cup final.
“It’s just the amount of people I can nominate for a game,” said the German, via football.london.
“I decided to start with Timo (Werner) as the nine and we had Ollie (Giroud) and Kai (Haverz) who can play as a nine. It’s not personal.
“Kova (Mateo Kovacic) wasn’t in the squad and when he comes back maybe I have to eliminate Andreas Christensen because of the number of players.
“Everyone deserves to be in the squad. I understand his frustration and it wasn’t the first time. We have other guys in the same situation.
“This isn’t the moment to complain and explain too much. It’s the moment to live in the moment as these are the decisive to weeks of the season.”
