Thomas Tuchel allows Barcelona target to depart Chelsea ahead of the winter window
In the transfer market, Barcelona has been struggling to make ends meet. Despite being a once-respected European club, the Blaugrana are now reduced to scavenging for scraps or free agents.
Given the players they plan to sell this summer, the garnet and blue have a chance to make some money.
Chelsea star Christian Pulisic is one of the players they intend to acquire. The American has not been exploited to his full potential.
According to El Nacional, Tuchel has given Roman Abramovic the green light to let him go.
However, he is not Barça’s first choice. Raheem Sterling, according to the Catalans, is a better fit. According to reports, if Pep Guardiola does not give him enough game time, he will consider leaving. If he does, Barcelona will snap him up as soon as possible.
Pulisic is valued by the Catalans for his versatility. For any team, he can play both wings.
This is particularly useful in a team that lacks wingers. At this rate, Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele are frequently injured and barely useful. Barça needs a proven player who can handle their tactics, and Pulisic could be that player.
Barcelona would have to sell to buy in the end. Philippe Coutinho and Samuel Umtiti have been added to the list of players who will be released. They are expected to fetch around €50 million, which is the amount required for Pulisic’s release.
