‘This guy is it’: Some Chelsea supporters wowed after their 18-year-old scores in 2-0 triumph for his country yesterday
Chelsea fans on social media were almost unanimous in their praise for Levi Colwill’s latest international performance.
Colwill captained England Under-19s for the second time in three games last night, leading the team to a 2-0 victory over Sweden.
The 18-year-old also got on the scoresheet, doubling the Three Lions’ lead shortly after the hour mark.
For club and country, the teenager has won over fans from two opposite ends of the country, as well as many in the middle.
Those who support Huddersfield Town have enjoyed watching the Chelsea loanee strut his stuff each week in the Championship.
Meanwhile, those back at Stamford Bridge will be planning how to build their future group around Colwill.
Especially after seeing snippets of his recent performance with the junior national team away from home.
On Twitter, they reacted as follows:
quality player, will shine for us next season just like chalobah has this season so far https://t.co/ch9FrVN6BZ

Why are we trying to buy Szalai when we have this guy at the factory? Thought we would learn after the whole Hysaj and James saga. https://t.co/q4hDkDeqVC

Call me a madman but if Rudiger leaves I’d give the keys to Colwill. If you’re good enough you’re old enough https://t.co/nSgaFHRkGp
