Manchester United Bruno Fernandes has cheekily mocked critics of his record in United’s big games, claiming that his critics will try their best to write off his goal-scoring contribution against City because it came from the penalty kick.
He said people have had a habit to always complain about everything. He said a win over Manchester City was important although he admitted how his criticizers will try to pull him down by saying he never scores against big teams since his goal did not come from an open play. He however said it doesn’t matter to him as long as it is a goal. He admitted he always don’t care who scores but what is important for him is that his team scores and wins the match.
Bruno compared a 2-0 win over Manchester City to a 6-1 lose to Tottenham where Manchester United scored first but later went on to lose the game. He insisted his goal could not have been ideal had his team not added another one to confirm the victory. He lauded his team for staying focused throughout the game and how well it defended after going ahead.

Bruno Fernandes has hit on his critics and thinks its time for people to end the notion that Manchester United is not performing against the big teams because they won against City. He admitted although the never won against some big teams, their performance was good giving an example of a game against Liverpool where they had opportunities but didn’t score and the game ended in 0-0 draw.
Bruno retaliated that the league is not a sprint but a marathon. He pointed out that if it was a sprint Red devils would have lost straight away because they had lost at the beginning of the season. He admitted that there are still some games to go and they should just stay focused, do their best and not think about others.
