The most popular Premier League owners have been revealed, with Arsenal’s Stan Kroenke ranking 16th

Leicester City’s owners, the Srivaddhanaprabha family, are the most popular of any Premier League club.

The late Vichai Srivaddhanprabha was a key figure in Leicester City’s run to the Premier League title in 2015/16, helping to cement the club’s place in the top half.

Following his father’s tragic and untimely death in 2018, Vichai’s son Aiayawatt has carried on his father’s legacy at the East Midlands club, with his crowning achievement coming at the end of last season when they won their first FA Cup.

Leicester has also constructed a cutting-edge training facility for both the first and academy teams, and there are plans to expand the stadium to a capacity of 40,000.

According to  Freebets.com analysis of social media activity directed at owners by fans, the Srivaddhanaprabha family is the most popular, ahead of Brighton chairman Tony Bloom.

The Seagulls are off to a great start to the new season, having only narrowly missed out on first place on Monday.

Bloom has transformed Brighton’s fortunes both on and off the field, assisting them in their move to the AMEX Stadium and returning them to the top flight for the first time since 1983.

Despite being one of the figures behind the doomed European Super League proposals earlier this year, Roman Abramovich was next on the list.

Chelsea fans staged fervent protests outside Stamford Bridge, forcing Abramovich to make a dramatic U-turn.

However, his financial commitment to the club, which included authorizing the £97.5 million signing of Romelu Lukaku earlier this summer, is noteworthy.

Steve Parish of Crystal Palace and ENIC Group of Tottenham Hotspur round out the top five. Despite ongoing criticism of chairman Daniel Levy following the decision to fire Mauricio Pochettino during the 2019/20 season, this remains the case.

Sheikh Mansour, the owner of Manchester City, is ranked ninth, just one spot above The Glazers at Manchester United.

After years of fan protests and demonstrations, many would have expected United’s American owners to be near the bottom of the standings.

United fans forced a Premier League game against the Glazers to be postponed last year, though the return of Cristiano Ronaldo may have dampened some of the animosity.

The Fenway Sports Group of Liverpool, led by John W Henry, is one place behind United’s owners. FSG, like other ‘big six’ clubs, enraged the fanbase with their ploy to join the Super League without first consulting with supporters.

Many people refused to accept Henry’s grovelling apology because he was forced to do so. After only one arrival during the most recent transfer window, a perceived lack of activity in the transfer window has also led to frustration.

KSE did sanction a summer transfer spree worth nearly £150 million, but it remains to be seen whether that will change their image.

Mike Ashley is then ranked 17th, though the Newcastle owner will be hoping that he is only on the list for a short time as he continues his efforts to sell the club.

The bottom three are David Sullivan ( West Ham ), Farhad Moshiri ( Everton ), and Southampton’s owners Gao Jisheng, who are the most unpopular in the Premier League.
