The Lebanese Federation reaches out to Villarreal player
The Lebanese Football Association has called upon Adam Al-Halabi, a player hailing from Spain and associated with Villarreal, to join the Lebanese U-17 national team.
This call is in preparation for the upcoming West Asian Championship, where the team will engage in friendly matches against its Syrian counterpart.
SportsDias has acquired a copy of the correspondence sent to the Spanish club, officially requesting the presence of Al-Halabi.
In a connected development, the Lebanese Federation has also summoned Ali Marhi, a player from the Philadelphia team in America, to join the junior national team.
These invitations align with the Lebanese Football Association’s strategy to reinforce the national team with skilled players who have demonstrated significant potential at both European and international levels.
Sources from SportsDias have disclosed that additional summonses will be extended to several young players to join the Lebanese under-20 youth team.
