“That’s the player” Jose Enrique demands Liverpool to snap up Arsenal player if they miss out on top four
Former Liverpool midfielder Jose Enrique feels the club should pursue Arsenal midfielder Bukayo Saka if the north London club fails to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Saka has been in fantastic form this season, emerging as a crucial component in boss Mikel Arteta’s side as they push higher up the league table.
In 30 Premier League games, he has nine goals and five assists, which is tied for the most in the squad with Emile Smith Rowe.
The 20-year-old was just named PFA Player of the Month for his courageous performances in March, a further evidence to his increasing pedigree.
What’s more impressive is that Saka beat off Harry Kane, Kai Havertz, and Ivan Toney to win the honor.
Enrique is clearly awestruck by him and has advised his former club to chase him in the summer if Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League again.
In a tweet, he said:
“Bukayo Saka has been named PFA Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month for March!
“Arsenal’s young forward fought off competition from the likes of Harry Kane, Kai Havertz and Ivan Toney to win the award.
“That’s the player we should go for reds if they don’t finish top 4.”

Saka’s spectacular ascent this season has made him the Arsenal faithful’s poster boy, and the club will not consider trading him right now.
His contract expires in June 2024, and he is worth £58.50 million. However, unless Saka finds a way out, he is likely to stay at the Emirates, despite heavy interest from rival clubs.
