Arsenal Football Club, commonly known as Arsenal or simply the Gunners, is a professional football club based in Islington, London, England. The club was founded in 1886 and has played at the Emirates Stadium since 2006. Arsenal is one of the most successful clubs in English football, having won 13 First Division titles, a joint-record 14 FA Cups, two League Cups, 15 FA Community Shields, the League Centenary Trophy, one UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, and one Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.
The team has had a number of legendary managers, including Herbert Chapman, George Graham, and Arsène Wenger, who managed the team for 22 years and is considered one of the greatest managers in the club’s history.
The current manager is Mikel Arteta, who joined in December 2019. Arsenal’s traditional kit colors are red and white and their crest features a cannon, which is a reference to the club’s origins as a munitions factory team.
Throughout its history, Arsenal has been home to many talented players, including Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Tony Adams, Ian Wright and many others. The club has a large and passionate fanbase and is considered one of the most popular clubs in the world
