Staggering Earnings: Saudi stars Kante and Benzema to earn more than seven Premier League squads combined

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is expected to transfer to Al-Ittihad shortly after Karim Benzema’s departure from Real Madrid to join the Saudi Pro League champions. These two prominent Saudi Arabian players, who have had successful careers in Europe, will earn a salary that surpasses the combined earnings of seven Premier League teams.

As per information from football.london, N’Golo Kante will leave Chelsea when his contract expires at the end of this month and will join Al-Ittihad.

His new deal is reported to be an astonishing £86 million per season for the next two years. On the other hand, Karim Benzema has already signed his contract and will receive a salary of £172 million over the next three years, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

These contracts represent some of the largest ever seen in football history.

The wages of just these two players will exceed the combined wages of the entire squads of Burnley, Brentford, Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham, Wolves, and Luton.

According to Spotrac, the annual wages of Burnley players amount to £16.9 million. Brentford players, on the other hand, earn a total of £30 million per season. The wage bill for Brighton is reported to be £36.4 million, while Bournemouth players earn £43.8 million annually.

Fulham’s players have a combined wage of £54 million. The Wolves’ player budget is set at £63 million. According to Salary Sport, Luton’s salary expenditure is relatively lower at £9.2 million per season.

The total annual spending of the mentioned clubs amounts to £253.3 million, which is nearly £5 million less than the combined earnings of N’Golo Kante and Karim Benzema in Saudi Arabia.

Al-Ittihad, the Saudi Pro League champions, secured their ninth title earlier this year by defeating Al-Nassr, the team featuring Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo had joined Al-Nassr after his contract with Manchester United was mutually terminated at the end of the previous year.

Despite his impressive record of 14 goals in 16 league appearances, Ronaldo couldn’t make the difference as Al-Nassr finished five points behind the champions.

N’Golo Kante, who notably won the Premier League title with Leicester City in 2016, has been a key player for Chelsea over the past seven years. During his time at Stamford Bridge, he has achieved remarkable success, including winning the UEFA Champions League, Club World Cup, Europa League, FA Cup, and a second Premier League title.

His contributions have been instrumental in Chelsea’s triumphs across various competitions.

During his illustrious 14-year career at Real Madrid, Karim Benzema achieved great success. He lifted five UEFA Champions League trophies and five Club World Cups, showcasing his prowess on the European and global stage.

Additionally, Benzema played a crucial role in helping Real Madrid secure four La Liga titles and three Spanish Cups. The announcement of his departure from the Bernabeu was made on a Sunday morning, shortly before he scored a goal in his final appearance for Los Blancos.

Benzema’s contributions to Real Madrid’s achievements over the years have been significant.
