Solskjaer warned of a ‘third problem’ posed by Thomas Tuchel.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will find it even more difficult fighting for major honors next summer following the advent of Thomas Tuchel in England, according to former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan.
Solskjaer is yet to win a crown as United manager, with the Red Devils’ last piece of silver over four years ago.
United did close second in the Premier League but was disappointed to reach the final of both domestic cup competitions.
Jordan has been a constant naysayer about Solskjaer and his fitness to manage the Old Trafford club.
He holds Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola are on a distinct level to the Norwegian.
And now Jordan states Tuchel, who won the Champions League with Chelsea last month, has fitted to become a third “elite” manager Solskjaer has to work and overthrow.
Jordan said on talkSPORT:
“I think with the arrival of Tuchel I think it’s made it even more difficult for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to advance beyond where I think he is, which is doing a decent job but not going to win really anything with Manchester United.
“You’ve now got another manager in the mix that he’s got to overcome because it isn’t just about the players, it’s about the management.
“Guardiola and Klopp have been elite managers, and now you’ve got another real one, you’ve got Brendan Rodgers running alongside it.

“I think Manchester United are the ones that are going to have more problems next year because I still think they’ve got a fundamental lacking in their dugout, which is they don’t have a good enough manager to compete with the elite ones.”
With former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte reportedly in talks to become the next Tottenham manager, Jordan believes the Italian would be a good fit at United.
“Antonio Conte is difficult but one of the few clubs that can harness his ambitions economically are Man United,” Jordan said.
“You want to win something in the here and now and to change the direction of the club, someone like Antonio Conte coming to Manchester United would probably be the fix that fixes all problems.
“He goes to places and wins things and he upsets everybody, he drives the ownership mad but I bet there’s a bunch of Manchester United fans who’d say ‘we’d welcome that because our owners are a bunch of disingenuous slobs’.
“If you want to win something in the here and now, he’s just come off the back of winning Serie A. Everywhere he goes he wins something of significance.”
