Solskjaer makes decision on out-of-form Man United player ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to reports by the Daily Mail (h/t Express), Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made his decision concerning the future of Anthony Martial at the club.
Martial came into the 2020/21 season riding high on the wave of a magnificent 2019/20 campaign. He ended the season as United’s top scorer and was also granted the Manchester United Players’ Player of the Year.
It has, however, been proved to be a frustrating season for Martial who scored just seven goals all season. An injury sustained while on international duty in March not only stopped his season untimely but also denied him a place in France’s team for the Euros.
Martial’s strains have seen him associated with a move away from Old Trafford this summer. However, Solskjaer is keen to keep him as he plans to mount a title challenge next summer.
United are keen to bolster their attack this season. Jadon Sancho is seen as a preference and looks set to once again be the focus of attention. Adding the 21-year-old to United frontline would increase the team’s attack immensely.

Solskjaer has already told the Glazers he thinks Martial has a big part to play at the club next summer.
The Norwegian understands that in Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, and Edinson Cavani, he has the means to thrust his side to title glory next term.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Tottenham are willing to pay up to €35 million to sign Anthony Martial in the season transfer window.
Tottenham are currently in a dangerous position over the future of Harry Kane, who was arguably one of the better players in Europe this season.
However, after failing to qualify for either the UEFA Champions League or the Europa League, there is a sense that Kane could call it quits at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
With United linked, Tottenham are having to keep their options open in the transfer market. As a result, any possible move for Martial makes a great opportunity of sense, reflecting he is well-settled in the Premier League and might not take too long to get settled down at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
