Sky Sports announce big Manchester United transfer update, fans will be buzzing
Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United’s star striker, is not for sale, despite speculations that he could join Premier League rivals Chelsea this summer.
The Portuguese striker is not for sale, according to Sky Sports, and United want him to stay at Old Trafford next season.
It comes after his representative Jorge Mendes spoke with new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly and recommended Ronaldo.
Despite this, new manager Erik ten Hag has reaffirmed that Ronaldo is still a part of the club’s plans, and with a year left on his contract, he is likely to stay.
CR7 returned to the Red Devils last summer, 12 years after leaving for Real Madrid.
The United fans will be ecstatic to hear that their star player is staying, as he was the only bright spot in an otherwise disastrous season last year.

He scored 24 goals in 38 appearances, giving him the club’s all-time leading scorer — a 37-year-old scoring more than 20 goals in a season is astounding.
Ronaldo came to United’s rescue numerous times and was the reason they advanced to the knockout stages of the Champions League and qualified for the Europa League.
Critics claim that his presence on the team slows United down and makes them less successful on the counter-attack.
However, there is no disputing his tally, and you simply cannot eliminate a man who is almost certain to score.
There may be doubts about who the Red Devils will turn to when he inevitably leaves, and United have been linked with bringing in a new striker, but first they must focus on upgrading other areas of the squad.
Last season, they conceded 57 goals, the most ever for the club in a single Premier League season, implying that stopping goals from going in is the issue, not scoring them.
Many players were rightfully chastised for their actions, but Ronaldo will always be a legend, and United fans should be grateful that they will be able to watch his magnificence for at least another year.
