Roberto Firmino sent Liverpool exit message after Diogo Jota transfer
Roberto Firmino could be the first of Liverpool’s front three to leave, according to talkSPORT pundit Tony Cascarino.
Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all turn 30 over the next year and Jurgen Klopp will likely need to renew his frontline.
Firmino has been inclined to be the first to depart by the former Chelsea striker, who hinted the arrival of Diogo Jota last summer may have ‘upset the dynamic’.
“All three of them, Firmino Salah and Mane have played a high level of football over a number of seasons,” Cascarino told talkSPORT.
“I would say Firmino didn’t have the season we know he is capable of – Salah was the best of the three last season.

Firmino is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury nurtured in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea before the international break.
The Brazilian has missed the Reds’ last three matches against Leeds United, AC Milan and Crystal Palace.
Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup encounter against Norwich City comes too soon for the 29-year-old, as assistant manager Pep Ljinders told reporters:
“Then we have Bobby [Firmino], who will do parts of team training but also not ready.
“But he is progressing well.”
