Report reveals what will happen at Chelsea if Graham Potter fails to deliver Champions League football this season

Todd Boehly is reportedly willing to support Chelsea manager Graham Potter even if the club fails to finish in the top four this season.

According to The Telegraph, the American has accepted that the Englishman will lead the Blues into the future.

It is fair to say that some fans are dissatisfied with the current situation of their club.

Prior to the World Cup break, the team’s poor performance was clearly cause for concern. Sometimes it is difficult to recall their most recent Premier League success.

Mason Mount and Kepa Arrizabalaga displayed their skill in the victory against Aston Villa, which brought three points back from Birmingham.

However, factors outside Potter’s control have significantly hampered his ability to lead the Blues to the greatest possible success.

His injuries have not been in his favor at all. He has been without probably his two best players, Reece James and N’golo Kante, for the duration of his tenure.

Due to the absences of Trevoh Chalobah, Wesley Fofana, Ben Chilwell, and Mateo Kovacic, some players, such as Trevoh Chalobah, have been obliged to work extra hours.

According to The Telegraph, Boehly believes that the former Brighton player represents the club’s best interests.

After the holidays, the Blues will return to a much more favorable schedule, allowing them to build momentum for the second half of the season.

Despite the current lack of excitement around the club, there is still a chance for a successful season at Stamford Bridge, since they are still participating in the Champions League.
