Report: Chelsea have just made a bid for Tottenham transfer target who ‘destroyed’ Dusan Vlahovic
Gleison Bremer’s move to Tottenham Hotspur has now become more tricky following reports that Chelsea has entered the contest.
Spurs are said to be interested in signing the Torino powerhouse if they are unable to convince Alessandro Bastoni to move to North London.
And, with the Inter Milan defender seems content at San Siro, Bremer appears to be Tottenham’s top defensive target this summer.
But Chelsea is suddenly involved — and serious about signing him.
According to Di Marzio, the Blues have made a “important proposal” for the 25-year-old Brazilian rocker.
Despite the increasing pressure from Chelsea, Inter are unwilling to swap Cesare Casadei for Bremer, according to the report.
Bremer is unquestionably the real deal, no matter who gets him.
Last season, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote for CBS Sport on how the stocky defender ‘destroyed’ former Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
And any defender who can successfully restrain the now-Juventus striker is someone Tottenham and Chelsea will want to recruit this summer.
Even Spurs fans may concede that the West Londoners are a bigger club.
But don’t rule out the possibility of the Lilywhites enticing Bremer to join them instead of Thomas Tuchel’s side.
With the additions of Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, and Yves Bissouma this summer, this is a team that means business.
Tottenham are investing substantially in what promises to be an exciting 2022-23 season under Conte, and Bremer’s desire to be a part of it cannot be overlooked.
