Report: £110k-a-week Tottenham target persuades his manager to sell him to Arsenal
Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta and Tottenham Hotspur’s Antonio Conte have both been heavily linked with Gabriel Jesus, and it appears that the Manchester City striker has made his decision.
Tottenham is reportedly competing with Arsenal for Jesus in the summer transfer season, according to The Telegraph.
According to Goal Brazil, the 25-year-old Brazil international striker is actively seeking a move to Arsenal rather than Tottenham.
According to the source, Jesus is attempting to persuade Premier League champions City and manager Pep Guardiola to sell him to Arsenal.
The Gunners have previously made a €50 million (£42.92 million) bid for the striker, who earns £110,000 per week (The Sun).
That is the sole offer on the table for Jesus, according to Goal Brazil.
Arsenal appears to be ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus.
Goal According to the news from Brazil, Jesus is dead set on moving to Arsenal.
When he was at Manchester City, the striker worked with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.
Yes, Arsenal will not compete in the UEFA Champions League next season, unlike Tottenham, but Jesus would be an immediate starter for the Gunners.
