Real Madrid ‘set to offer shockingly low transfer fee to land Man Utd transfer target

REAL MADRID is reportedly preparing to make a surprisingly low transfer offer to Tottenham as they join the race to secure the services of Harry Kane, who recently surpassed Wayne Rooney to become the second-highest scorer in Premier League history.

Harry Kane, the England captain and all-time leading scorer for his country, has further solidified his remarkable career by scoring 279 goals in 435 games for Tottenham, making him the club’s all-time leading scorer.

Despite his impressive individual achievements, Kane has experienced another year of disappointment at the club level, as he is yet to win a trophy.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Manchester United has identified Kane as one of their primary targets.

However, Real Madrid has emerged as the frontrunner in the race for the star striker, following the unexpected departure of Karim Benzema to Saudi Arabia.

The Spanish giants are keen to bolster their attacking options and view Kane as an ideal replacement for Benzema.

Real Madrid has recently finalized an £86 million transfer deal to secure the services of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham. With this signing complete, manager Carlo Ancelotti is now aiming to bolster his squad further by adding his compatriot and England teammate, Harry Kane.

However, there are uncertainties surrounding Real Madrid’s pursuit of Kane due to the demands set by Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

Reports suggest that Levy is unwilling to entertain any offers below £100 million for Kane, regardless of his age and contract situation. This stance from Tottenham’s chief has created a potential hurdle in Real Madrid’s pursuit of the talented striker.

Marca has provided additional information regarding Real Madrid’s approach and the amount they are prepared to offer in the bidding war for Harry Kane. According to the report, Real Madrid is hesitant to break the bank for a player who will turn 30 next month, especially considering the arrival of Brazilian forward Endrick next summer and their potential pursuit of younger talents like Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe in the future.

As a result, Real Madrid is reportedly willing to make an initial bid of around £68 million to Tottenham for Kane.

This relatively low offer could potentially create an opportunity for Manchester United, who have been long-term suitors for Kane, to make their move. Manchester United is also in need of a new number nine as they aim to compete on multiple fronts in the upcoming season.

While Kane is said to be open to a move to Old Trafford, it is unlikely that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will waver from his high asking price for the prolific striker.
