With an impressive team featuring talented players such as Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, Pep Guardiola’s side has a significant chance of claiming the championship.
FiveThirtyEight predicts a 33% probability of Manchester City winning their inaugural Champions League trophy.
Although Real Madrid had a convincing win over Liverpool, they are not among the top favorites to win, with a 14% chance according to FiveThirtyEight’s analysis. Bayern Munich is the second most likely team to emerge victorious.
Napoli, who are currently dominating the Serie A, have been given an 11% probability of winning the Champions League this season. Considering their impressive form, it would be unwise to underestimate their potential to go all the way in the competition.
Benfica, aiming to become the first Portuguese champions since 2004, are the fifth favorites to win. Meanwhile, the chances of Chelsea, AC Milan, and Inter Milan winning the title are perceived as very low.
