Real Madrid agree ‘anti-Haaland clause’ in bid to defeat Man Utd and Liverpool to transfer

Real Madrid agree ‘anti-Haaland clause’ in bid to defeat Man Utd and Liverpool to transfer

According to reports, Real Madrid has told Brazilian superstar Endrick that if he signs with them, they won’t go after Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

Palmeiras attacker Endrick, 16, is considered one of the brightest football prospects in the world and is on the radar of Europe’s biggest teams.

Several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal, are among his admirers.

There are a number of teams that are in contention, including the Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Endrick’s stock continues to climb as he has excelled for the Brazilian club’s youth teams and scored three goals in seven senior games for Palmeiras.

While he may have imitated Haaland’s signature celebration after scoring his first senior goal in October, it has since come to light that he does not wish to play for the same club.

Endrick has helped Palmeiras reach numerous youth championships by scoring a plethora of goals. When they won the Copa Sao Paulo de Futebol Junior, a youth tournament in Sao Paulo, this year, their prolific scorer was honored as the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Palmeiras reportedly has a release clause for him of £51 million, and Real Madrid is eager to meet it.

It has now been reported by Marca that the teenager’s entourage have made a special request to Real Madrid, who have undertaken informal negotiations regarding the conditions under which they would contemplate signing the young star.

The Brazilian’s camp has made it clear to Real Madrid that they would prefer the club not sign Haaland if a deal for Endrick is finalized. That is because they believe the two players have playing styles that are too similar and would be detrimental to the youngster.

Endrick will celebrate his 18 th birthday in the summer of 2024, the age at which he would be able to join Real Madrid’s senior squad, at which point Haaland will be aged 24. The presence of both players at the same club raises concerns that the Brazilian’s development will be stunted and that he will never realize his full potential.

Despite Madrid’s worries about a potential trade, reports indicate that they were sympathetic to the proposition because they are aware of Haaland’s talents and that he will be available for transfer in the summer of 2024 due to a provision in his Manchester City contract.

Real Madrid is hesitant to sign Haaland because of their wage structure, concerns that he won’t commit to a long-term project, and reservations over the Norwegian’s injury history in recent seasons.
