Raheem Sterling breaks silence over Man City’s exit speculations.
In an exclusive interview with talkSPORT, Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling maintains he is paying no heed to noises encircling his future amid reports linking him with an exit.
Raheem Sterling, 26, has established himself as one of the deadly forwards in the Premier League since joining Manchester City from Liverpool in the summer of 2015.
The England international has racked up 114 goals and 87 assists in 292 outings for Manchester City, winning three Premier League titles, four EFL Cups and one FA Cup trophy in the process.
The 26-year-old had a diverse 2020/21 campaign, despite starring in 49 games across all competitions and helping the Sky Blues win the Premier League and Carabao Cup.
Having fallen down the attacking pecking order under Pep Guardiola last term, Sterling’s future at the Etihad Stadium is up in the air.
As per a report from the Sun, Barcelona are the freshest club to show an interest in signing the English winger.

Sterling, whose deal at the Etihad Stadium lapses in the summer of 2023, has also been associated with Barcelona’s traditional rivals, Real Madrid.
When asked by talkSPORT how he ignores speculation, Sterling stated: “Do what they done before we had social media. Don’t check anything, don’t look at anything. That’s the most important thing.”
After a tough individual season with City, Sterling wants to bounce back and is fully centered upon England’s imminent campaign at the Euro 2020.
“I am feeling good. It is all about mentality,” the 26-year-old added.
“You can play a lot of games but if mentally you are not happy, if mentally you are down, okay the tournament could be physically demanding. But if you are happy and raring to go, that is the most important thing.
“It is where your head is at and mind space. And right now my mindset is smile and be happy.”
