PSG present major Kylian Mbappe free transfer message amid Liverpool speculation.

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has ruled out the likelihood of Kylian Mbappe departing on a free transfer and claims he will never sell the forward amid the relentless speculation connecting him to Liverpool.

Mbappe has long been rumoured with a move to Anfield given his current growth in world football and Jurgen Klopp’s open respect for the World Cup winner.

The forward has also been heavily linked with Real Madrid – a club Mbappe revealed he is a huge fan of.

One of the major stumbling blocks for any move for Mbappe would be the transfer fee and while Liverpool are unpromising to launch a move for the forward this summer, any club in the world would be keen in signing Mbappe on a free next year when his contract lapses.

Al-Khelaifi insists PSG will not sell their prized asset and ruled out the likelihood of Mbappe running his contract down to leave for nothing.

“I will be very clear: Kylian MbappĂ© is going to stay at PSG,” he told L’Equipe .

PSG recently tied down Brazil superstar Neymar to a new deal and anticipated to seal the signing of former Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum in the coming days after commandeering a bid from Barcelona.

He added: “It was not difficult to reach an agreement with Neymar. It only took so long because of the health crisis. I never had doubts.

“All I can say is that things are going well [with Mbappe]

“I hope we can reach an agreement. This is Paris, this is his country.

“He has a mission, not only to be a footballer, but to promote Ligue 1, his country and its capital.”
