Premier League race for the Golden Boot: Top scorers 2021-22 after Ronaldo hat-trick

Sports Dias presents you all of this season’s best goal scorers from England’s first flight.

Last season, Harry Kane won the Premier League Golden Boot title with 23 goals, narrowly defeating Mohamed Salah to the renowned award.

The race is on again as the 2021-22 season continues , and there are a few more contenders for the best scorers award this time around.

Mohamed Salah, the talisman of Liverpool, is the leading player up to now, but will he win the Premier League Golden Boot 2021-22 which is almost coming into its conclusion?

Premier League Top Scorers 2021/2022

As we approach the end of the season, here is the current Premier League top scorers ranking.

Salah is currently the leading player with 22 goals, with a slew of typical suspects behind in his wake.

Heung-min Son had his greatest season in terms of goals with Tottenham last season, scoring 17 in 37 Premier League games.

The forward has scored in double figures in each of the last five seasons and might be a decent chance to fight for the Golden Boot as he looks to fill Harry Kane’s void.

Cristiano Ronaldo finished last season as Serie A’s leading scorer with 29 goals in 33 games, and he dispelled any fears that he might slow down on his return to Old Trafford with two goals in his first game back.  Manchester United  supporters will be hoping that the Portugal phenomenon can help the club secure a place in the Champions League this season.

As we approach the end of the season, here is the current Premier League top scorers ranking.

Players with the same amount of goals are ranked by fewer minutes played. Stats correct as of 21/05/22.
