Pedro Porro offers honest opinion about his Tottenham debut in Leicester thumping
Pedro Porro, the new addition to Tottenham team, took to Twitter to express his disappointment after playing his first game yesterday against Leicester City.
He was named as the starting right wing-back by Antonio Conte, replacing Emerson Royal who performed well in their recent 1-0 victory against Manchester City.
Porro stated in his post that he was upset about the 4-1 loss at the King Power Stadium, but he is not ready to give up.
Tottenham started strong by scoring the first goal through Rodrigo Bentancur, but a series of defensive mistakes allowed Leicester to come back and ultimately resulted in their defeat.
Sad about this debut.

The 23-year-old Porro received criticism from Tim Sherwood for his debut performance, with the former Tottenham manager calling it one of the worst debuts he has ever seen.
During the game, Porro appeared unsteady defensively, allowing Harvey Barnes to easily get past him, and his first touch was not as smooth as fans had seen during his time in Portugal.
Porro’s debut for Tottenham was not a memorable one, and he has some improvements to make in order to meet Antonio Conte’s expectations for the right wing-back position.
During the game, Leicester targeted the open space behind Porro, as his positioning often left Japhet Tanganga vulnerable.
