Paul Pogba sends cryptic ‘see you soon’ message to Paulo Dybala with Instagram post
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has posted a cryptic message on Instagram, sparking speculation that he may join a new club on a free transfer when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old, who has been a massive disappointment since rejoining United in 2016, is likely to go on a Bosman once more after running down his contract while pretending he is still uncertain about his future at Old Trafford.
Pogba has made it known for some time that he would prefer to play his game elsewhere, and he recently cupped his ears in a disrespectful gesture towards the Stretford End following a league win over Norwich City.
Pogba opted to feed the rumour mill with a cryptic social media post.
Former Juventus teammate Paulo Dybala is expected to leave Turin this summer on a free transfer, with the Argentine possibly playing his final game for the club on Monday evening, which finished in a 2-2 tie against Lazio.
Pogba has messaged Dybala, adding a’see you soon’ message that may or may not be transfer related.
The cynic in me, on the other hand, believes otherwise.
He wrote: “Hermano, you’re a top player and top man! It’s great to have you as a friend and to have shared moments with you at @juventus. Hope to see you soon! @paulodybala”
This follows a report on Tuesday that Pogba’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, had been invited to negotiations with Juventus about a trade (via Sky Sports).
To try to connect the dots, FootMercato earlier reported that Dybala may join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in the summer, with the Ligue 1 champions also interested in Pogba.
Of course, Real Madrid is another possibility.
