Patrick Vieira takes Premier League by storm as he is set to shock rivals by landing Man City star to Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace looks set for a close-season overhaul, with the new boss, Patrick Vieira, obviously looking to bring down the ordinary age of his squad.
The Frenchman is working through a list of transfer targets according to the Daily Mail, and he seems keen to obtain one of Manchester City’s young talents.
Morgan Rogers has been lauded as one of the country’s outstanding recruits and only intensified his standing during a recent loan spell at Lincoln City.
At just 18 years of age and despite his apparent natural ability, he’ll likely not get near the first team regularly for some while yet.
And noe Vieira’s interest could lead to a compromise that benefits all parties, with City also emphasizing on a sell-on clause in any contract.
Palace could end up getting the player for as little as £7m, which is a bargain in this day and age.

Given Vieira will be assessed on how quickly he can mold the squad to his liking and get results, even at that cost the Frenchman has to be steadfast in his conviction that the play is just what he’s are looking for.
Vieira has endured two stints as a top-flight manager – two years (2016-2018) with MLS side New York City FC and then most recently with French side Nice from 2018 to 2020.
Speaking lately, former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas gave an exciting forecast for how he anticipates Crystal Palace to play under Patrick Vieira.
Fabregas, who spoke to talkSPORT, (as transcribed by HITC) believes exciting things could be on the horizon for the Eagles.
“He will definitely change the way they have been playing,” said Fabregas. “Under Roy, I think it was a very direct team.
“They used to defend with a low block. 4-4-2. Straightforward. Typical English football. But very effective. I think they did well under Roy.
“But with Patrick, and having been here (in France) for a few years and played against him (Monaco v Nice) a few times, it’s completely the opposite idea.
“Patrick likes to play football out from the back. He likes to take a lot of risks. When we used to analyse their games we decided to press high because they were really taking risks.
“He wants to play no matter what. He has got ideas. Fair play to him. I am a fan of him and hopefully, he can bring a new style to Palace.”
