Pape Sarr names the 2 ‘golden players’ at Tottenham besides Kane & Son, not Kulusevski
Pape Matar Sarr has expressed admiration for Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma in anticipation of Tottenham Hotspur’s upcoming match against Chelsea.
Due to injuries, the Uruguayan midfielder has been unable to play, which has had an impact on the team’s quality and leadership, according to Dejan Kulusevski.
However, the midfield duo will not be available to play against Graham Potter’s side, much to Cristian Stellini’s disappointment. With all eyes on Tottenham and their ability to defeat Chelsea, Sarr has highlighted the negative impact of losing such top players as Bentancur.
If Yves Bissouma was fit, he may not have been a regular player for Tottenham Hotspur, but the same cannot be said for Rodrigo Bentancur.
The former Juventus midfielder has demonstrated his skills to the extent that Ronald Araujo has expressed interest in bringing him to Barcelona.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Pape Matar Sarr has praised both Bissouma and Bentancur while also discussing how Tottenham has been affected by their absence, as they prepare to face Chelsea on Sunday.
“Honestly, it has been hard for the team. Yes, it has given me an opportunity. We need [Rodrigo Bentancur] and [Yves] Bissouma, so we had to experiment.”
“They are experienced, golden players and we need them for the help of the team, the coach and the club. We are without those who are injured but I’m sure they will come back quickly and stronger.”
