Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ‘makes decision’ between David de Gea and Dean Henderson for Europa League goalkeeper spot.

United boss Ole Gunner has decided to stick by David de Gea as the goalkeeper for the Manchester United Europa League final, according to reports.
Henderson and De Gea have shared goalkeeping duties this season – something which has reportedly been disappointing for both players at times during the campaign.
Henderson has made 25 appearances in all competitions this season, despite the fact that he had only made three starts in the Premier League before March.
Henderson has started all of the games in the FA Cup, League Cup and was in goal for the first four Europa League ties, whilst between the start of the season and March, de Gea began all of the Premier League and Champions League contests apart from three games.
It seemed as though Henderson had taken over from de Gea as number one in March though.
De Gea was dropped in the Crystal Palace game on March 3 due to what Solskjaer labeled as ‘personal reasons’ and Henderson was chosen in the next eight Premier League fixtures.

The 24-year-old was left for the Leicester game on May 11 though, despite making a series of good saves against Aston Villa in the game before.
Henderson returned against Liverpool two days later but survived a difficult afternoon, as he arguably could have done better with two of the goals.
The performance led to former United captain Roy Keane doubting whether Henderson has the ‘presence’ to be the club’s No.1 long term, asserting he ‘looks so small in the goals. He looked tiny there for the fourth goal’.
On a positive note, De Gea had impressed in the Europa League semi-final defeat to Roma on May 6 and has played in two of the last three Premier League games.
And The Manchester Evening News report that De Gea is anticipated to start the Europa League final on Wednesday, May 26 against Villarreal.
Solskjaer has maintained that he has yet to make a choice twice this week though.
Speaking on Monday, the United manager said
“I think there are loads of difficult calls.
“The whole squad has contributed so much. It’s probably a different scenario with the ‘keepers than it’s normally been, because they’re both in and around the 30 [games] mark [this season].
Solskjaer said:
“It was David’s turn to play, he has played in Europe and Dean Henderson mostly in the league.
“I will make up my mind after the last two league games [on who starts in the Europa League final].
“There are still a couple of places up for grabs.”
