“Nonsense” Mo Salah agent reacts to no uncertain terms to Liverpool summer exit reports

The representative of Mo Salah, the forward for Liverpool, has replied to new rumors that the player might leave the team if they fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.

Liverpool, led by Jurgen Klopp, is experiencing a disappointing season both in their domestic league and in Europe, following their defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League last week.

The team is at risk of being eliminated from the top European competition after losing 5-2 in the first leg of their last-16 match, despite having initially taken a 2-0 lead.

Liverpool’s poor season, which includes their elimination from both domestic cups and their seventh position in the Premier League table, has left Klopp preparing for next season without a guaranteed spot in the Champions League.

While Liverpool still have a chance to finish in the top four, they are currently nine points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, although they do have two games in hand.

According to a report from Fichajes, a Spanish publication, Salah will leave Liverpool in the summer if the team fails to qualify for the Champions League.

Despite signing a new contract with the club last summer that extends until 2025, there have been persistent rumors of Salah departing.

The recent rumors about Mo Salah leaving Liverpool if they fail to qualify for the Champions League have been seemingly dismissed by his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, on Twitter.

In response to the report, Issa tweeted that the notion was nonsense and that neither he nor Salah had ever discussed or considered the possibility. According to Issa, not qualifying for the Champions League hasn’t even crossed their minds.

Despite signing a new contract with Liverpool last summer, Salah’s performance this season has been in line with the team’s struggles, as he has only scored two goals in his last ten Premier League matches.

Liverpool will play against Wolves in the Premier League on Wednesday evening. If they win the match, they will move up to sixth place on goal difference, surpassing Fulham.

However, the team needs to demonstrate more attacking effectiveness than they did in their recent 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.
