‘No chance’ – Jurgen Klopp rules out one key Liverpool player as another returns to the fold
Liverpool appear to be missing three key first-team players for this weekend’s trip to Brentford.
The Reds travel to the newly promoted Bees hoping to remain unbeaten in the Premier League and possibly pull away from Chelsea at the top of the table.
More rotation is expected after a much-changed side cruised past Norwich City 3-0 in midweek.
Jurgen Klopp has ruled out Thiago, Naby Keita, and Roberto Firmino for the trip ahead of the match.
The 54-year-old stated that there was “no chance” Thiago would play, while Firmino, who has been out with a hamstring injury, was “back in contention” but still appears unlikely to play from the start.
Losing Thiago and Keita so soon after Harvey Elliott was ruled out for an extended period of time is obviously not ideal.

TAA, Neco Williams, Roberto Firmino and James Milner could all be back for the weekend.
Keita, in particular, will be frustrated by any time spent out of action after a promising start to a season in which the Guinean could finally establish himself as one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Despite the fact that both midfielders appear to be only short-term absentees, it does mean another reshuffle.
At Brentford, Klopp is likely to start Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, and either Curtis Jones or James Milner.
