Mykhailo Mudryk’s stats in Chelsea’s 0-0 draw with Fulham are shocking
Mykhailo Mudryk was the talk of the town following his Premier League debut in a Chelsea uniform.
The Ukrainian, who was acquired from Shakhtar Donetsk for a staggering £88.5 million, came off the bench against Liverpool two weekends ago and looked like a world-beater.
Mudryk terrorized James Milner from the left wing and nearly proved to be the game-winning scorer for Chelsea that day.
Gary Neville wrote on Twitter that he “wouldn’t want to play against him” after the 22-year- old’s incredibly impressive cameo at Anfield, praising the youngster’s performance.
As a result, Chelsea supporters were optimistic about Mudryk’s first Premier League start against Fulham on Friday evening.
Mudryk was under intense pressure to live up to the enormous hype, but he failed spectacularly.

Fulham’s tenacious, well-organized defense was simply too much for Mudryk, and many teams will undoubtedly follow Marco Silva’s blueprint when they travel to Stamford Bridge.
Mudryk, as confirmed by Potter after the game, had been suffering from a severe cold in the days leading up to the match, so one must wonder if it would have been prudent to keep him out of the firing line.
Noni Madueke, who replaced the Ukraine international at halftime, was quite impressive in his Chelsea debut.
Even after he was moved to the right flank following Raheem Sterling’s introduction in the second half, the young Englishman posed a constant threat.
Next weekend, Madueke is likely to start on the road against West Ham United.
