Mykhailo Mudryk posts cryptic message after responding to Chelsea ‘unhappiness’ claim
Mykhailo Mudryk, who recently joined Chelsea in January, has shared a vague message on social media shortly after giving a brief response to questions about his dissatisfaction with the team.
Mudryk played well in his debut against Liverpool but has struggled to maintain that level in subsequent matches.
Despite starting in three games in a row, he was replaced by Raheem Sterling in the left side of the Chelsea attack in the matches against Southampton and Tottenham.
After this, Shakhtar boss Darijo Srna suggested that Mudryk might be unhappy due to a slight drop in his performance.
He told the Football Ramble Podcast: “Unfortunately, at Chelsea now he’s not in a good mood, Mykhailo as well, but he has all the qualities to be one of the best players in the Premier League in the next couple of years.”
The aforementioned remark triggered a significant amount of discussion regarding Mudryk’s mindset and morale. However, on Monday, the winger responded resolutely and dismissed those assertions.
Under a post from Chelsea after the defeat to Tottenham, Instagram user @yugiizman commented: “Hello @mmudryk10 are you happy with Chelsea now?” The winger responded with a prompt reply, saying: “Yes.”
Mudryk has been giving Chelsea supporters an inside look at his training regimen and game preparations, frequently showcasing his gym workouts focused on building strength and conditioning. However, his most recent social media post appears to convey a more profound message than his previous updates.
The Instagram story is captioned: “if u know what I’m talking about”, which appears to be in reference to the hoodie he is wearing which says “talent aint enough” with the first word crossed out. While not abundantly clear, Mudryk could certainly be referencing the common phrase associated in sport that ‘talent only gets you so far’.

Mudryk’s skill with the ball at his feet is evident, but it is his dedication and hard work that will truly help him succeed.
The winger’s consistent efforts outside of training demonstrate his strong work ethic, and despite his recent struggles, he doesn’t seem to be discontent.
Rather, he appears to be ignoring any external distractions and focusing on working hard to regain a spot in Graham Potter’s starting lineup.
