Medical scheduled: Manchester United’s transfer target is flying to England today
Manchester United are closing in on a transfer deal for Feyenoord left-back Tyrell Malacia.
CaughtOffside reported earlier this week that Malacia was on his way to Manchester United, and now there’s an update on the young Dutchman’s position.
See below for the latest on Malacia’s move to Old Trafford, with medical tests now arranged for the 22-year-old, who is flying to England later today to finalise his move…

Second part of medicals scheduled on Monday morning then first signing will be official.
Malacia appears to be a fantastic prospect who might fight for a first-team spot, with Alex Telles seeming like a likely replacement at left-back this summer.
According to CaughtOffside, incoming MUFC manager Erik ten Hag is a great fan of Malacia, whom he’ll be familiar with from his stint in the Eredivisie.
United have had a quiet summer so far, but this looks like a savvy piece of business if everything goes as planned.

Antony is another Ajax star ten Hag wants to reunite with, but the reigning Eredivisie champions have set a £69 million price tag on the winger to dissuade bidders.
Fans will be looking for further acquisitions in midfield and attack in the near future if Ten Hag is to have a realistic chance of returning this squad to the top four.
