Marina Granovskaia close to completing first Chelsea’s transfer deal ahead of summer window.
Chelsea youngster Pierre Ekwah Elimby is pretty near to leaving Stamford Bridge and completing a move to London rivals West Ham United.
The 19-year-old, who plays as a defensive-minded midfield player, is close to joining the Hammers after a successful trial period with the club.
It is reported by Sky Sports that Ekwah, who had a trial with League One side Portsmouth earlier this year, will join the east London club for a fee of around £1.5million, with the Blues placed to include a significant sell-on clause in the contract ahead of his stock likely rising in the future.
The youngster, notwithstanding being on the verge of sealing an exit from Stamford Bridge, has featured for the club’s under-23 side in Premier League 2 this season, racking up seven appearances. As well as making seven appearances for the under-23s he also nicked in with one goal.
In 2019/20, the Frenchman was a constant for the Blues’ under-18s before making the step up to the next rung of the ladder.

West Ham, who are setting plans in place ahead of a UEFA Europa League exploits next season, are poised to affirm Ekwah’s arrival at the London Stadium once the summer transfer window formally opens for business on Wednesday.
Should the sale go through without any late difficulties or hitches, he is poised to instantly link up with the Hammers’ Under-23s team before looking to build up his expertise and force his way into David Moyes’ first-team plans.
