Manchester United transfer updates.
Man Utd offer to agree £330,000 a week terms to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to La Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Sport Witness), Man Utd have offered to agree terms worth 20 million euros a season i.e. £330,000 a week to re-sign the 36-year-old, who is still functioning at the top level for both the club and the country.
The Italian news source have alleged that currently, the former Real Madrid superstar is getting a salary of 31 million euros a season and understands that he can still get the same package elsewhere, so he will take time to make the final decision.
On the other hand as far as Juventus are concerned, it is said that the Bianconeri could look to achieve a deal with the 20-time English champions that would see French midfielder Paul Pogba returning to Turin.
Fabrizio Romano offers huge update on Jadon Sancho
Manchester United’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is set to proceed this summer and the club is reportedly closer than ever to sealing the transfer.
Journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has submitted an update on the situation, insisting that the saga will not drag on until the final week of the window again.
Sancho, who has two years remaining on his deal, is assumed to be valued at €90m by BVB this year – a big drop in valuation.
Napoli rejected huge €108m bid from Manchester United for star player
Napoli’s Kalidou Kouilbaly has long been associated with a move abroad and perhaps not to any other side more than Manchester United.
According to Italian outlet Area Napoli, the Italian club declined a bid worth a whopping €108m for the defender.
The offer is said to be from Manchester United but it’s never defined when the alleged bid was lodged.
The 29-year-old now has two years remaining on his contract but with his 30th birthday coming up this week, it’s absurd that Napoli will receive another nine-figure offer for him.
Manchester United linked with Paris St Germain’s Keylor Navas
Spanish outlet Marca has linked Manchester United with a dive for PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas, with Italian titans Juventus and AC Milan also said to be involved.
The Costa Rican’s place in the Ligue 1 side is destined to be imperiled by the impending arrival of Gianluigi Donnarumma, making a move away from France a serious plausibility.
With De Gea’s crown having long-since slid, he’s now widely seen as a virtual deadweight, whereas Navas would now be viewed by most of United’s fanbase as an excellent replacement.
At the quoted price of just 12 million euros (£10.3m), it might be time to pray that the fax machine is back in full working order.
Manchester United fans demand Varane transfer after France show
Manchester United supporters let their feelings recognized quickly after Raphael Varane‘s remarkable play for France during the triumph over Germany and amidst rumours of a potential transfer from Real Madrid.
The talented centre-back is widely expected to bequeath Spain this summer after a breakdown in talks over a contract prolongation.
United have long been associated with the French defender but a transfer never really got close to happening.
Declan Rice interested in securing Man Utd move
According to Manchester Evening News, the defensive midfielder, who had a splendid campaign for West Ham United last term, is drawn in securing Man Utd move.
However, he might end up staying one more year with the Hammers.
The 22-year-old play-breaker’s current deal with the London based side will lapse in 2024 and MEN insist that it could take a mammoth fee of £100million to hire his services.
Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is set to go out on loan this summer.
In a recent tweet, famous journalist Jonathan Shrager has stated that Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe is set to go out on loan this summer.
It is believed that the Red Devils centre-back could go out on loan for the 2021-22 campaign as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to make reservation in his team for a new defender in this off-season.
Tuanzebe was a occasional presence in Solskjaer’s match-day squad last season but did well to present a few powerful displays at the back.
Tuanzebe’s current deal at Man United is set to lapse at the end of next season but Solskjaer has the choice to extend his stay for a further year next summer.
However, the Norwegian head coach doesn’t have any room in his squad for him at the moment as he is still not good enough to feature for the Red Devils week in week out.
Sergio Ramos’ comments on Man Utd as transfer speculation hots up after Real Madrid departure
With Real Madrid confirming Ramos exit, his next potentially fascinating destination could be Manchester United, who are known to be on the look-out for a new centre-back.
And the player himself previously revealed back in 2016 that he nearly made a move to Old Trafford – and was adulated by the Red Devils’ interest in him.
In an interview with COPE, he said: “There was an offer from United. I considered changing for a while but Real Madrid was always my priority and there were no economic reasons.
“Did I feel cheated [by Madrid]? No, but I did feel disappointed for a while. There were some troubles that came to an end.
“Flattery from big clubs is always good as this is because you are doing well, but the fans and my club want me.”
Now that the club do not need him, do not rule out the possibility of Ramos’ head being turned if an attractive offer from United comes in.
Manchester United have made their move for Kieran Trippier
According to the Guardian, Atletico Madrid have turned down the first official bid from the Red Devils and they estimate the defender at £34.4 million.
The Red Devils will have to pay the asking price if they want to bring trippier back to England this summer.
£34.4 million looks quite steep for a 30-year-old and United have to strengthen the other areas of their squad as well.
Bringing in a quality centre back to partner Harry Maguire and signing a top-class goalscorer should be the foremost priority for the Red Devils this summer.
Jesse Lingard is expected to open talks with Manchester United next month, amid reports linking him with a move to West Ham.
According to Daily Mail journalist Sami Mokbel, Jesse Lingard is presumed to open discussions with Manchester United next month, amid reports associating him with a move to West Ham.
The Hammers are anxiously awaiting the green signal from Man United to sign the attacking midfielder, but he is not anticipated to commence talks with them this month.
Recently, club insiders Claret & Hugh reported that Lingard could be available for £15-18 million this summer, despite reports proposing a fee in the region of £30 million.
However, Ex-WHUemployee is not confident about the dealings happening, stating that Ole is likely to give the player an opportunity to prove himself next summer and that’s something he is keen on.
