Manchester United make improved bid for Borussia Dortmund forward

Manchester United have made an enhanced bid for Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho, which is assumed to be worth more than £75m.

The structure of the proposed bid would see United pay more upfront with the rest in achievable add-ons.

Dortmund are thought to be analyzing the latest offer, although reports in Germany hint they value Sancho over £80m

United remain the most “realistic destination” for Sancho – though other clubs are still involved.

It is stated that the 20-time English champions are not too concerned about bringing the veteran back to the club after 11 years and are more focused on hiring the services of Jadon Sancho from German Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund.

Blow to United Sergio Ramos tells close pals at Real Madrid which club he is planning to join.

It’s bad news for Manchester United, Manchester City, and the other Premier League clubs connected to his signature, as the legendary center-back is set to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

Reports via Spanish outlet Tiempo de Juego say that Ramos got an offer from the Paris club which is financially superior to what either of the Manchester sides came up with. And that he has told his friends at Real that he will be playing for the Ligue 1 giants next season.

The slight good news for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is that, if the PSG agreement should somehow fall through, Ramos has reportedly revealed a preference for Man United over City.

Man Utd respond to Kingsley Coman transfer reports.

Manchester United are said to see Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman as a ‘very talented’ player amid speculation that the Frenchman could be set for a summer move to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have been associated with Coman in recent weeks, with the 25-year-old understood to be keen on leaving Germany in search of a fresh challenge.

Despite Bayern’s ambition to keep hold of Coman into next season and beyond, United’s hierarchy are keen admirers of the player, according to SPORT1.

A club manager is quoted as saying: “We do not comment on rumours. We have scouts all over the world & Coman is very talented.”

However, it remains to be seen whether Bayern will be prepared to sell their man at any price if United decides to act on their reported interest.

The same report states that the Red Devils consider Torres could be a possible candidate to bolster Solskjaer’s defense ahead of the 2021-22 Premier League campaign.

Torres has a contract release clause of €60m (£51.3m) after the Spain international signed a contract extension in 2024.

Andy Mitten gives Kieran Trippier transfer update

Manchester United have been delivered a huge transfer boost after it was alleged that one of their targets is keen on a move to the club.

Kieran Trippier has long been associated with a move to Old Trafford and according to recent reports, the former Tottenham defender wants to make it happen.

Andy Mitten, editor of United We Stand and contributing writer at The Athletic, has provided an update on the state but has insisted that Atletico Madrid hold all the cards.

“Manchester United want him and as I understand it, he wants to join United,” Mitten told Sony Sport India
