Manchester United readying a mammoth nine-digit offer for France international
According to German outlet Bild (h/t Express), Manchester United is getting ready to make a transfer bid of £106 million for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
The Red Devils have shown interest in the 24-year-old France international and are willing to make a substantial offer to secure his services.
Although the striker is currently under contract with the Bundesliga team until 2027, a significant bid could entice them to sell him.
Kolo Muani joined Eintracht Frankfurt last summer on a free transfer from Nantes in Ligue 1.
Since then, the French national has impressed many with his performances.
Oliver Glasner’s team is currently in a strong position in the league, competing for a spot in Europe, and the 24-year-old has played a significant role in their success.
The striker has been in excellent form this season, making 34 appearances across all competitions for Frankfurt and scoring 16 goals while providing 14 assists.
Kolo Muani showcased his talent for France during the 2022 World Cup, and had an opportunity to secure a decisive victory for Les Bleus against Argentina in the final moments of the game. Unfortunately, Emiliano Martinez made a spectacular save to deny him.

It is apparent that Manchester United has limited choices when it comes to the number nine position, with only Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst being the sole natural strikers available to manager Erik ten Hag.
Consequently, the team has had to depend on Marcus Rashford to fill in as a center forward and consistently make an impact in the attacking third.
Hence, it appears that Manchester United would benefit from strengthening their attacking options.
Nevertheless, it might not be a prudent decision to invest a significant amount of money on a player like Kolo Muani, who has not demonstrated his abilities consistently over a prolonged period.
