Manchester United fans vote man of the match v Barcelona
The fans of Manchester United have selected the player of the match from their team’s exciting 2-2 draw with Barcelona last night.
Despite falling behind initially, United took the lead and eventually secured a point in a captivating game that saw them unlucky not to win.
Towards the end, the team had to fight hard to hold on for the draw. Marcus Rashford scored United’s opening goal, while Jules Kounde inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.
The tie is still up for grabs, and the teams will face each other again at Old Trafford next week. However, it’s worth noting that the away goals rule, which used to be a deciding factor, was abolished a year ago.

According to the club website., Manchester United fans cast their votes for the man of the match against Barcelona, and Marcus Rashford won the award for the second consecutive game, with over half of the votes in his favor.

Marcus Rashford has won the highest number of man of the match awards this season, which is not surprising given his impressive goal-scoring record.
So far this season, he has scored 22 goals in all competitions, which is the same as his career-best, and it’s still only mid-February.
After the Barcelona match, Rashford was praised by Rio Ferdinand, and the forward will undoubtedly be motivated to replicate his excellent performance in the second leg at Old Trafford next week.
