Manchester United confirmed 2022/23 signings, transfers in, transfers out, loan exits, and releases.

Manchester United’s summer was filled with entering and exiting players. Here, you can keep track of everyone.

Late in April, the club selected Erik ten Hag as its new manager, signaling a summer of transition and, ideally, the beginning of a prosperous new era.

The transfer window concluded on Thursday, September 1 at 11 p.m.

Manchester United confirmed 2022/23 transfers in

  •  Manchester United  signed Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord for £13 million increasing to £15 million. Deal announced July 5.
  • As a free agent, Christian Eriksen joined Manchester United. The agreement was validated on July 15.
  • From Ajax, Lisandro Martinez joined for a starting price of £46 million. The agreement was validated on July 17.
  • On August 18, it was announced that a deal had been reached to acquire Casemiro from Real Madrid.
  • Manchester United acknowledged Antony’s departure from Ajax on August 30.
  • On September 1, it was official that Newcastle had loaned Martin Dubravka to United.

Manchester United confirmed 2022/23 transfers out

  • Dylan Levitt joined Dundee United after leaving Manchester United. Unknown is the fee.
  • Fulham has acquired Andreas Pereira from Manchester United. The cost is £8 million plus an additional £2 million.
  • Everton has announced that James Garner has left Manchester United and joined the team for £15 million.
  • Birmingham City has acquired Tahith Chong on a permanent basis for a price of £1.5 million, United announced.

Manchester United confirmed 2022/23 out on loan

  • Nottingham Forest loaned Dean Henderson for the season.
  • Preston North End have loaned Alvaro Fernandez. He signed a new deal until 2024 with an extra-year option.
  • Sevilla have loaned Alex Telles for the season.
  • United announced Ethan Laird’s loan to QPR.
  • United confirmed Dermot Mee’s loan to Altrincham until January.
  • Eric Bailly has joined Marseille on loan from United.
  • United confirmed Hannibal Mejbri’s move to Birmingham City.
  • United confirmed Amad’s loan to Sunderland.
  • Manchester United announced Ethan Galbraith’s loan to Salford City.
  • United announced Will Fish’s loan to Hibernian.

Manchester United confirmed 2022/23 released players

Several players were officially let go by United when their contracts ended on June 30.

  • D’Mani Mellor has left the club. He’s joined Wycombe.
  • Lee Grant retired and joined Ipswich as a coach.
  • The club confirmed that Edinson Cavani will also leave. It’s Valencia.
  • The club confirmed Nemanja Matic’s departure. He joined Roma.
  • Paul Pogba will also go for free for a second time. Juventus rehired him.
  • Jesse Lingard has also joined Nottingham Forest.
  • Juan Mata has also left.
  • United released Connor Stanley and Reece Devine. Swindon sign Devine.
  • Martin Svidersky has left the club. Almeria signed him.
  • Daniel Polakowski, a young goalie, has also left for the USA.
  • Woolston and McShane have also retired.

Youth transfers

Toby Collyer, a midfielder from Brighton, has signed with United. He has already played for the under-18 team, and next season he will be on the under-23 team.

Elyh Harrison, a goalkeeper who is 16 years old and came from Stevenage Town, has signed with the club.
